"Yesterday I got a letter in my hand written by a person in the USA.
It concerned scientific examinations on fat rats and mice which were given Glutamate in purpose to make them fat. It’s very effective. Normally rats and mice don’t grow fat, they have a very good weight regulation.
But when they are given Glutamate they are swelling up just like balloons. This is well known among researchers. Now Glutamate has turned out to be used very much also in human food. It’s used as flavouring. On the list of contents it’s called Glutamate or Flavouring, E620-E625 (there are also many other E-numbers). MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is another denomination, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein is another one.
Glutamate goes to the Pancreas and increases the insulin production, it also goes to the brain and increases the appetite. Therefore, it’s very smart by the food producers to use Glutamate as it causes us to eat more, especially from their food. Glutamate is found in plenty of ready-cooked food and semi-cooked food, in spice mixtures and bouillons. In ready-cooked and semi- cooked food, there can be any amount of it. In spice mixtures and bouillons there are not much more than we add to the food by ourselves.
Even restaurants use a lot of Glutamate as flavouring.
Possibly the Glutamate additives is a contributory cause to the obesity explosion in the West World?
Beside the high carb, low fat dietary recommendations.
Accordingly we ought to relinquish buying food containing Glutamate!
Do your own cooking out of pure primary products without additives!"

Obscene- goes beyond even Tobacco Industry standards. Since Obsesity is even a far reaching greater health problem this is a breach of humanity.
