It’s propagated from everywhere that we shall eat more fruits and vegetables. Few of them reflect on that growing them means an enormous toxic encumbrance in the Nature and in our bodies. The imported products are hardly less sprayed by pesticides.
I don’t mean that we shall abandon vegetables, but we don’t need overdoing our intake. Unnecessarily large intake just increases the toxic encumbrance. However, we can eat generously of nearby, organically grown vegetables. Those who are not sensitive to sugar can also eat nearby, organically grown fruits without bigger restrictions. Organically grown berries are also beneficial, in moderate quantities only for them who are sensitive to sugar.
