"When visiting restaurants on weekdays, there’s a risk to get the health damaged by their food. It’s possible to avoid the carbohydrate food, potatoes, pasta, bread, rice etc, but the problem is their way of cooking. The involved risks are that the cooks might use margarines, Omega-6 oils, additives like Glutamate etc. Therefore LCHF certified restaurants are needed.
On Max Hamburger restaurants you can get LowCarb burgers, but I can’t give an answer concerning the ingredients in their cooking. Are natural lipids used in the sauce? Are there additives like Glutamate in the seasoning?
When I visit a café, I usually buy a sandwich and eat the ham and cheese etc, but abandon the bread, but I still don’t know which ingredients been used.
To this insertion you can report restaurants which are aware of the dietary complex of problems and offer LCHF alternatives on their menu. You may certainly mail your tips to me: annika.dahlqvist@telia.com
Gothenburg: Downtown Freddys. Drottninggatan 31 www.freddys.nu Serves LCHF lunch
Malmö: Triangeln, Café Terrassen
Mellanfjärden: Hälsingland, Restaurang Sjömärket offers LCHF alternatives
Stockholm: Järnet Matsal & Bar, Österlånggatan in Gamla stan (Old town)
Fredensborgs herrgård: Vimmerby
Rospiggens Matcafe in Norrtälje"
Elisabeth: The restaurants mentioned above are all of them situated in Sweden. Maybe restaurants in other countries are beginning to offer LCHF food, too. If so, please do let me know!
